We offer you the handcraft of Mexico

During our trip to Mexico, we met Luiz, who is our contact person. We work directly with several families who manufacture ceramic skulls by hand. The craftsman is thus paid at the fair value of his work, within the framework of ethical trade and a fair approach.
Each piece is unique, we update new models regularly.
A thousand-year-old tradition that evokes the art of honouring ancestors and consists in celebrating with joy every year for 2 days, at the beginning of November, the past generations but also those present and future. During the festival of the dead or "dia de los muertos", Mexican women traditionally wear a colourful and festive skull and crossbones make-up. This custom was born in 1912, even though the Mexican festival itself dates back more than 3,000 years.
The skull, the skull in general, represents a person's soul. In Mexico, not to forget their ancestors, from an early age Mexicans educate their children not to be afraid of death. It is traditional for Mexicans to have a ceramic or sugar skull somewhere in their home, to continue the rest of the year to think about the people who left and keep this connection with their ancestors.
